12 DAYS NAIROBI – LAKE NAKURU – MAASAI MARA – LAKE VICTORIA – SERENGETI – NGORONGORO – LAKE MANYARA – AMBOSELI – NAIROBI

Take this exciting safari that start by traversing the Great Rift Valley in Kenya. You will visit Lake Nakuru National Park which is home to the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe and other animal species that include buffalos, waterbucks, lions, impalas as well as many bird species including the flamingos. Later, you will proceed to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve which is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves and famous for its annual wildebeest migration. You can see all the Big Five here.

We the cross over at Lake Victoria which is an African gem. Bordering Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, this expansive body of water stretches into the horizon – appearing more like a sea than a lake. Gentle waves are punctuated by many small, verdant islands that play host to a rich variety of wildlife. A perfect place to while away languid evenings as the red African sun sinks out of view, Lake Victoria is as interesting as it is restorative.

We then proceed to the Tanzania parks. Serengeti, the lands from which the great migration begins. The endless grasslands of the Serengeti boast millions of wildlife, especially wildebeest and zebra.

Ngorongoro which is the world’s largest fully intact volcanic caldera. From the crater’s rim, you will marvel at the most awe-inspiring sunrises and sunsets. But even more impressive, traveling down to the crater floor you’ll enter a world of intense wildlife.

Lake Manyara which hosts millions of vibrant flamingos and other birdlife. The park also features great herds of elephants and the very unique tree-climbing lions.

We finally return on the Kenyan side and visit the magnificent Amboseli National Park which is known as the best place in Africa for getting up close to free-ranging elephants. The sparse vegetation also provides excellent opportunities for viewing the buffaloes, impalas, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. The bird life is equally rich especially in the park’s marshes and lakes.
