Day 1: NAIROBI TO AMBOSELI - Appx 250Kms (5hrs drive)
0730hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel. Depart for the Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi – Mombasa Road. The morning drive is via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Maasai herdsmen grazing their cattle.
Arrive at the Amboseli national park in time for lunch and later venture into the park for the scheduled afternoon game viewing drive.
There is no doubt that during this tour, you will spot the free-ranging herds of elephants up close in the park – a little wonder why the park is the best place in Africa to spot such herds. It is home to many other species such as the Cape buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, spotted hyena, Maasai giraffe, zebra and blue wildebeest among other African animals. Birdlife is also abundant, both large and small species. Weather permitting, Amboseli national park offers a beautiful vista of the scenic snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro which makes it a perfect site for photography. It is the tallest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge. Meal plan: Lunch & Dinner.
Day 2: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Another day to enjoy game viewing drives in Amboseli. We shall make a stop at the observation hill to view the sprawling breath-taking view of Amboseli.

From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal-clear water gushing out from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs, to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness.
The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher’s Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below.
Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world. The attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

After the breakfast, you will depart with an en-route game viewing drive for Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and wildest national parks. The rugged landscape is best known for its lions (many of the males have very scruffy manes, if at all), and for its many elephants coated in Tsavo’s distinctive red dust. The park’s east is generally excellent for cheetah sightings, while other elusive species include the Somali ostrich, gerenuk and the extremely rare Hirola antelope. Nearly 500 bird species have been sighted here. We shall arrive for check in and lunch at Ashnil Aruba Lodge. Later in the afternoon proceed for our scheduled afternoon game drive. Overnight and dinner at Ashnil Aruba Lodge.
