6 DAYS NAIROBI – ABERDARE, OL PEJETA, LAKE NAKURU, MAASAI MARA
On this tour, you will first head North of Nairobi to Aberdare National Park. You’ll overnight up in a tree hotel with views of a local watering hole, hosting elephant, buffalo, and antelope, amongst others. A truly unique slice of Kenya.
You will then proceed to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Nowhere else in Kenya can you see chimpanzees in their native habitat. This reserve also harbours the largest number of black rhinos in East Africa in specially protected game corridors. But you’ll also find all the Big Five here.
We’ll head on through the Great Rift Valley to the delightful varieties of wildlife found at Lake Nakuru National Park. There are a handful bright pink flamingos along the lake but also other wildlife such as the black rhino, leopard, giraffe, gazelle and baboon.
We then proceed to Maasai Mara National Reserve to experience quantities and varieties seen nowhere else. The reserve is renowned for its great numbers of lion and other predators. Should you be here during the Great Migration (July – October) prepare to witness an immense spectacle of moving wildlife anywhere as hordes of wildebeest and zebra flood into the park.
